Creative Corner: A Space For Kids
Over the last few months, the Rourke has been working with an art student form Concordia College to create a space in the museum for kids.
Creative Corner currently features a hands-on activity for kids featuring Charles Beck's woodcut, Haying. It also includes educational materials on the process of woodcuts and a mini exhibition of permanent collection woodcuts, hung at a height ideal for kiddos!
This space will be filled year-round with activities and exhibitions just for kids and those who are young at heart. And we want to thank our amazing intern for working so hard to make this fun and educational space in our museum over the past three months.
