Artist Information for Print Fest, 3rd Edition
We’re pleased to invite you to Print Fest: 3rd Edition—a one day sales event on Saturday 3 May 2025 at The Rourke. Print Fest, as you may rightly assume from the name, focuses on and celebrates the discipline of printmaking.
You and other invited printmakers will set up unframed prints to sell on tables throughout the museum building (521 Main Avenue in Moorhead). Buyers will browse and select work for purchase from the various artists present. The museum reception counter will serve as the single point of sale—accepting payment types that include all major credit cards, cash, check, and Apple Pay. We plan to have a food truck parked out back (we’ve scheduled Duck Duck Goose for the event from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and to present one or two short printmaking demonstrations over the course of the afternoon in the studio space in the lower level of the museum.
To participate, we ask that you complete the inventory spreadsheet provided in your original invitation email and send it to [email protected] by 11:59 p.m. on Monday 21 April. Please list every individual print along with its edition number so that we have the correct stock in our point of sale and a label for each of your pieces. We encourage you to submit enough work to fill a 6 or 8 foot table. If you can't find the spreadsheet provided to you, please email us!
Artwork. Please submit only unframed prints. All artwork should be individually packaged in clear sealable bags or shrink wrap. We will provide you with sheets of labels to affix to your artwork during setup time on the day of the sale. Labels will include your name and the artwork’s title, price, media, and a Rourke inventory number.
Day of Sale. We will be open for artist setup from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday 3 May. Please let us know if you intend to bring your own table or if you will need one. The museum has a selection of folding tables in the event you are unable to bring your own and we have plenty of folding chairs for your seating needs.
The sale will run from 12 noon until 4 p.m. We ask that your table be attended for the duration of the event (allowing for breaks, of course!). If you are unable to attend your own table, please let me know and we will work with you to make other arrangements.

- The rate of commission for printmakers who are able to be present and attend to their tables will be 70% artist / 30% museum. Printmakers in attendance will also receive a meal voucher for the food truck.
- The Rourke’s normal 60% artist / 40% museum commission rate will apply for those unable to be present but who wish to have their work available for sale.
- All participating printmakers will receive a little gift pack from the museum as a token of our appreciation.
