Queer Joy: 2023 FM Pride Exhibition at The Rourke

The Rourke will be presenting a group exhibition in celebration of FM Pride Week in August 2023. Each interested artists may submit one artwork for consideration. To display as many pieces from as many artists as possible, we ask that the works not exceed 24 inches in any dimension. All artwork must be for sale. The usual Rourke rate of commission will apply to all entries (60/40 - artist/gallery). To have your artwork considered for the exhibit, complete the entry form at the bottom of this page. The submission deadline was Friday 21 July 2023.

​Notice of acceptance will be sent by 5 p.m. Saturday 29 July 2023 and accepted artworks must arrive on or by Sunday 6 August 2023. Hand deliveries may be made during Public Viewing Hours at the museum (1 to 5 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) or by scheduling a drop off appointment by emailing [email protected].

Artists are responsible for affixing appropriate hanging hardware on two-dimensional artworks or wall mounted three-dimensional artworks. Artists are also responsible for all shipping or delivery expenses to and from The Rourke.

The exhibition will be on view from Friday 11 August through Sunday 10 September 2023.
