Art Ghoullery IV

THE FANTASTIC & FRIGHTENING
On view Friday 1 October through Sunday 7 November 2021

Picture
Art Ghoullery IV: The Fantastic & Frightening is the fourth iteration of an annual exhibition dedicated to the scariest of holidays. It brings frightening fringe art back to The Rourke with the assistance of fantastic artists - both local and remote. The interpretation of the theme ranges from cute to creepy, while the diversity of visual language on display creates a macabre melody sure to delight both the sinister and silly. This year, entries embrace the more frightening aspects of fantasy, fairy tales, and folklore.
We're pleased to announce Ian Scheele's "Introspection" as the People's Choice Award winner from amongst all of the eligible artworks in this year's Ghoullery! The People's Choice was determined through an online ranked ballot system running from 15 to 29 October.

We're also pleased to announce Wesley Smith's "Armored Claw" as the Best in Show winner this year. The Best in Show winner was selected by noted area artist and The Arts Partnership's Project Manager Christina Johnson.
Exhibitions and operations are supported in part by the generous support of the following regional, state, and local entities:
