Monotypes with
Cameron Peterson - Virtual Class

Available Now!
Course fee: FREE
Duration: 14 minutes, 8 seconds
In this intermediate printmaking class, led by Cameron Peterson, you'll learn how to create - quite literally - one-of-a-kind prints! Learn about mark-making, options for media in monotypes, and how to print a ghost. Play with abstraction, value, realism, and texture for your very own painterly prints.

Supplies to gather at home:
  • piece of plexiglas with a 45˚ bevel (learn this skill with Courtney Donahue's plexiglas drypoint class)
  • paper
  • pen / pencil
  • tools for mark-making: fabric, mat-board pieces, Q-tips, etc.
  • soaking tray (large enough to soak the paper you will be printing on)
  • brayer
  • spoon / extra brayer (for burnishing)
  • ink (preferably water-soluble)
  • towel
  • spoon

Optional supply:
  • watercolor media
