10 a.m. to 12 noon, Second Saturdays The Rourke Art Gallery + Museum, 520 Main Avenue, Moorhead Coffee and Critique is an informal community critique for bouncing ideas off your fellow artists and gaining fresh perspective from others in and outside of your own discipline. Bring your unfinished (or finished) work and mull it over. Or simply pull up a chair for coffee and fellowship with the artistic community. This event is free and open to all media and all career stages. This series is presented in collaboration with the FMVA. Art Education Interest FormThe Rourke serves as a venue and provides facilitation services for teaching artists in need of space for art classes for all ages.

Individual Artist Grant
The Arts Partnership Support for artists, performers, writers and other creatives at any career stage and working in any arts discipline. Proposed projects should help the applicant realize their artistic vision, improve their artistic skills and build sustainable careers. Applicants must be 18 years or older Grant awards: $1,000 to $2,500 Deadline: Friday, May 15, 2026 at 5 pm Application Guidelines Scoring Rubric Application 2026 Summer Artist-in-Residence Otter Cove Children’s Museum, Fergus Falls, MN This 8-week residency is designed to support community-centered, process-based artmaking with children and families. We’re especially interested in artists who are excited to engage in participatory work and bring their unique creative perspective into a rural setting. The selected artist will:
The residency includes a $5,000 stipend and a $2,500 materials budget, along with staff support for logistics, marketing, and participant registration. It is structured as a flexible, part-time opportunity over the summer. Proposed activities can be in the United States or international. A studio membership includes access to pottery wheels, firings, tools, and workspace during studio hours. Studio membership includes personal shelf space and 1/2 a kiln load of glaze firing per month. Additional firing space can be purchased. You can become a member for $55 dollars per month. Springboard for the Arts, LSS Financial Counseling Through a new partnership between Springboard and LSS Financial Counseling, artists have access to up to six free financial counseling sessions, available in person, by phone or online. What can you accomplish with one of LSS Financial Counseling's certified counselors?
