Call for Art: 2026 Heart Show
The Rourke Art Gallery + Museum

The Rourke will be presenting a group exhibition in celebration of Valentine's Day in February 2026. With regard to content, we expect that entries will include some reference to love, the holiday, and the saint who remains loosely connected with it, Cupid, but this year we invite you to consider focusing your efforts on subjects that center around the whimsical, kitschy, and retro vibes of mid-century Valentines —"Call Me!" is the subtitle for this year's exhibit, and we're thrilled to see what you create!

Call for Submissions: Limited Time Only, February 5 – 22, 2026
North Dakota Museum of Art

Limited Time Only builds on one of the Museum’s most popular exhibitions titled This Week Only, last held in 2019. For 2026, we are expanding the duration of this non-juried exhibition from one week to nearly three weeks, allowing more people to view and enjoy the exhibition. Imagine an exciting array of art from the Red River Valley and surrounding areas to brighten our lives in winter.
This is the fifth time the Museum has hosted a non-juried exhibition, and it is the only one on the Museum’s schedule. Historically, this exhibition has featured dozens of works on paper, paintings, sculptures, photographs, crafts, and multi-media from regional artists. We look forward to receiving an equally robust and diverse collection of work. The exhibitions have traditionally brought many supportive viewers, and with the extended viewing time, even more people will have the opportunity to see and purchase artwork.

Submission Deadline: 5pm, January 30th.
