The 2025 Heart Show: Tainted Love
The call for artists for our annual Valentine's group exhibition is now open. Entry forms will be accepted until 15 January. The Fergus Falls Sculpture Art Walk
Thursday, February 13th, 2025, submission deadline Notifications will be sent by March 7th, 2025 Artwork will be selected based on conceptual strength, originality, and workmanship by the Fergus Falls Public Arts Commissions. Sculptures will be exhibited in downtown Fergus Falls from May 2025-April 2026. Selected artists will receive a $1500 honorarium to display their work. Submissions limit of three per artist; no cost to enter. All artists need to be a resident of either Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota. The Fergus Falls Sculpture Art Walk is part of a walkable tour of public art in the historic downtown area with multiple shops, art organizations and restaurants. FY 2026 Creative IndividualsMinnesota State Arts Board
Creative Individuals provides support to help individual artists and culture bearers develop or sustain their creative practices and meaningfully engage with Minnesotans. In this program, funds may be used to support an individual's creative practice and meaningfully connect to and engage with audiences, participants, students, and/or communities during the grant period. Applicants may request between $2,000 - $10,000. The Arts Board will host a virtual Information Session for potential applicants to learn more about the program purpose and application process. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions with program officers at the end of the session. See below for more information. LRAC Arts Mentorship Grant Lake Region Arts Council The LRAC Arts Mentorship Grant (AMP) is open to students currently in grades 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Up to 20 scholarships will be awarded to students to be part of this one-of-a-kind student art program. Each study award is valued at $700 and pairs students with artistic professionals to help increase and enhance their skills. Awards are made on the basis of commitment and potential for artistic development.

Arts Organizations (nonprofit), nonprofits with projects that have arts as the primary focus, local governments, and educational institutions in the LRAC nine-county region are eligible to apply. We want to not only support and encourage those creatives but help them connect with the public in a fun, informative, and inclusive way.

Springboard's work helps artists develop a living and a life, with resources like entrepreneurial development workshops, one-on-one counseling, the Artists' Access to Healthcare and Minnesota Lawyers for the Arts programs. They help communities connect to artists with Community Supported Art, and Irrigate community Development.
