This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.

This activity is also funded by the Creative Plains Foundation and from the generous support of private donors.

We firmly believe that art has the power to transform and to inform. 

We seek to engage all ages through programs focused on creativity, understanding, and a deep respect for all cultural and artistic traditions. Our staff works with educators to craft visits and learning moments for all age groups, from pre-schoolers to out-of-school adults. Art helps participants build and hone their analytical, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. 

Our educational programs include talks and demonstrations by artists, lectures by arts professionals, occasional hands-on art creation opportunities.
